The Southern Illinois Miners have been a strong road team all season. Now they'll get a chance to prove it in the playoffs. By virtue of their 4-2 loss Tuesday to the Gateway Grizzlies, the Miners handed Windy City's ThunderBolts the Frontier League's West Division title, and the home field advantage for the first round of the playoffs that accompanies it, with a game to spare.... read more
